Waitrose Horticulture has a strong heritage in sustainably sourcing cut flowers and pot plants. Today, however, we’re up in Inverness, looking at LEAF Marque Christmas trees. We’ve been working with these growers for nearly 4 years now, since we launched Christmas trees in Waitrose, as they understand how to grow a really consistent tree, both sustainably and sensitively to the environment in which they’re grown.
It takes 10 years to grow a Waitrose LEAF Marque Christmas tree.
So be sure to keep an eye out for our British-grown LEAF Marque Christmas trees this year. You’ll spot the LEAF Marque logo on all of the labels in our branches.
