A sustainable food supply chain
Scientists and Waitrose suppliers are coming together to share best practice to help create a sustainable global supply chain in fruit and veg.
They are meeting as part of the Waitrose Farm Assessment initiative, a series of training courses which started in 2011 to help suppliers improve their practice, and to quantify the impact of the changes they make.

Third Plenary Assembly of the Global Soil Partnership
The third plenary assembly of the Global Soil Partnership Plenary Assembly will take place at the FAO headquarters in Rome from 22nd – 24th June 2015.
The assembly will review and prioritise GSP actions, and agenda items include the implementation of the International Year of Soils and the World Soil Day and its celebration in 2015.
